Family Support Committee

Purpose
This committee helps families break the poverty cycle and become independent by sharing with them the love of God. The committee welcomes new partner families into the Habitat family and provides them with a mutual support system, educational opportunities, and a forum for discussions pertaining to Habitat homeownership. This committee is the primary liaison between the affiliate and the homeowner families. The committee specifically works with families through sweat equity, homeownership education, the closing process, adjustment to new responsibilities, and continued partnership.
