You have the ability to make a difference.

Volunteer

Many people ask if they need to be skilled or knowledgeable to build a home when volunteering for HFH.

Habitat's construction teams are nicely balanced with those skilled in construction and those who have never picked up a hammer.  HFH needs all kinds of help from fund-raising to marketing to volunteer recruitment to cooking meals for the volunteers and, of course, home building. There is plenty of work for everyone.

HFH only requires that you call ahead to volunteer as the organization adheres to a building schedule, and an overview of work-site safety training is a must.

Join a Committee

There are many people who work hard to support Habitat for Humanity behind the scenes.  One way to make a difference is to join a board-supported committee.  Click here for committee descriptions.
