The Habitat for Humanity ReStore“We are excited to partner with the Habitat ReStore on this Trade It In Event and at the same time keep these items from filling up our landfills”, stated Bill Murray, owner of Murray Furniture. “This is a win-win for our customers along with the ReStore shoppers”. Habitat ReStore is a home improvement discount store that is open to both the public to shop and donate. The store boasts 7000 square feet of bargains that include building materials, household items, furniture, antiques and a wide variety of items that change daily. “The primary mission of the ReStore is to provide additional funding to support the affiliate’s house building goals and to divert construction and household materials from landfills and protect the environment”, stated Nancy Zompolas the ReStore Supervisor. ReStore hours are Wednesday 2 – 6, Thursday and Friday 10 – 5 and Saturday 9 – 2. ReStore phone number is 920-921-2893. The ReStore accepts donations of new, gently used and salvaged building materials from individuals, retailers, businesses, manufacturers, contractors and remodelers. These good-quality items are sold to the general public at a fraction of retail prices, with all profits going to local Habitat for Humanity projects. Why donate?
