Habitat for Humanity of Fond du Lac County is a nonprofit, nondenominational Christian housing ministry organized to work with the local community to build simple, decent, affordable houses with those who lack adequate shelter.

 Home for the Holidays Gingerbread House Winner 2009*

Sara Miller, Habitat Volunteer along with Kathy Strong-Twohig, Habitat executive director present Brian Carter, owner of Fond du Lac Seafood with their gingerbread house winning entry. Habitat for Humanity Home for the Holidays  Gingerbread contest was held to raise funds for the two houses to built this year. Over a dozen downtown businesses took part in this event with the final voting taking place at Fox Valley Savings Bank.
