Habitat for Humanity of Fond du Lac County was proud to participate again in the Home Builders Blitz of 2008 with the partnership of Signature Homes / Adashun Jones. This was the second Home Builders Blitz for builders Glenn Elmer and Tom Schaefer. Both Tom and Glenn participated in the 2006 Builders Blitz and were so moved by the experience that they jumped at the chance to get involved again. In fact, Tom Schaefer was Habitat for Humanity of Fond du Lac's Volunteer of the Year in 2006. Tom was also General Contractor for a majority of Fond du Lac's house builds and truly believes in the Mission of Habitat.
2008's Home Builder Blitz for the McCoy Family was HfH-FdL's 15th house. Chris and her son Collin were excited to be a partner family. They felt blessed to have the opportunity to work with the Home Builders and with Tom and Glenn, to own their own home.
