HOME OWNERSHIP APPLICATION MEETING

Interested applicants must attend our Habitat for Humanity of Fond du Lac County application meeting on Monday, July 19th, from 6:00  to 7:00 p.m., OR on Saturday, July 24th, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at The Fond du Lac Public Library, 32 Sheboygan Street, Fond du Lac in the McClane Room.   

Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit, ecumenical Christian housing ministry whose purpose is to build homes with families and sell the homes at no profit and no interest.

Family selection is based on need, ability to pay a no-interest mortgage, and willingness to partner in the building of their home. 

To be eligible for a Habitat house, recipient families must

  • Live or work in Fond du Lac County for at least one year prior to applying
  • Have a steady source of income for two years prior to applying
  • Not have claimed bankruptcy within the last two years

Household income not more than: $26,400 $35,650 $43,600
Household income at least: $13,890 $17,780 $23,000

Habitat for Humanity wants to eliminate poverty housing for people of all faith traditions and cultural backgrounds. Attending an informational meeting can be the first step towards healthy and safe housing for a local family. Attendance at an information meetings is required to receive an application.  Applications will not be mailed.
